The
school
works very closely with an
active
group called Parents and Teachers
in Lutheran Schools.
PURPOSE OF PARENTS
AND TEACHERS
IN LUTHERAN SCHOOLS:
The purpose shall be to help
parents and teachers cooperate
intelligently in the Christian
training of the child.
To achieve this purpose the Parent-
Teacher League shall by means of
its program of education and
activities:
A. Help parents understand and appreciate their
children and provide parents with the
necessary skills for the Christian nurture and
training of their children;
B. Help teachers understand the needs of the
Christian
home and extend their influence into the
family;
C. Help to develop a closer relationship between the
home and school;
D. Assist in providing improved facilities for
students
and faculty;
E. To sponsor or aid social activities of Immanuel
Lutheran School upon request.
